    Nov 08, 2006

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass., November 8, 2006 — LENOX, a name synonymous with technologically advanced band saw blades and fluids, introduces WOODMASTER C, 2" x .045" gauge carbon band saw blades specially designed to power through the wood in high horsepower band saw machines as well as portable mills. The new heavy gauge WOODMASTER C is now available in a variety of tooth spacings to accommodate the specialized needs of both the high production sawmills and the portable mill operator. Available through LENOX distributors, LENOX WOODMASTER C bands are engineered to last long and exceed the performance requirements of customers for an incredibly low cost-per-cut.

"These blades are the answer to the market′s need for a heavy gauge, high performance blade," said Mark Holley product manager for band saw blades at LENOX. "WOODMASTER C is a heavy gauge wood cutting carbon steel blade, and features our unique hardened tooth tips for exceptionally smooth, consistent cuts and long life — benefits that most carbon blades simply cannot offer."

The WOODMASTER C 2" x .045 band saw blade features a one-piece, thick-gauge hardened backing steel that allows the blade to feed faster, with less blade deflection. Coupled with the blade′s hardened tooth tips, these features allow WOODMASTER C to accept high feed rates, perform long sawing hours and cut cleanly with reduced dust. Economically priced, LENOX WOODMASTER C is an exceptional value for general purpose wood cutting applications.
